Exciting news! The world’s largest green business ideas competition, ClimateLaunchpad, is back again in Singapore this year! If you have any early-stage cleantech ideas to develop into actual businesses, this is the programme you are looking for.
CLIMATE LAUNCHPAD COMPETITION : BATTLE YOUR WAY TO GLOBAL IMPACT
You have a green business idea and want to take it to the next level. Perfect, you should enter our competition. Don’t worry if you don’t have a business plan just yet. Or if your idea is still on the back of a napkin. You are most welcome to join.
Once you are selected to join the competition, you will get to participate in the ClimateLaunchpad National programme that kicks off with a multi-day digital Boot Camp, which is followed by intensive coaching so that you will know everything you need to start your business. The top teams in Singapore will gain a chance to present their ideas in the Global Grand Finals to a global audience consisting of climate investors, policymakers and start-ups from 50 other countries.
If you don’t have full answers to all of the questions in the form, feel free to give rough estimates. The important thing is to get your form submitted before your country’s deadline.
The applications are now open for India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, and United Arab Emirates.

The winning teams from Climate Launchpad South Asia will get automatic entry into a 4-6 weeks ‘investment readiness’ program by the Climate Angels Network. Through this, teams will be coached to develop a refined investor-facing deck and receive feedback on their pitches from the investment community. The program will culminate in a pitch day in October 2021.

CLIMATE LAUNCHPAD COMPETITION STEPS
Teams submit their ideas or innovations with environmental impact. Ideas that fit the bill get invited to join. ClimateLaunchpad reviews the entries and helps selected teams in getting their ideas battle-proof. Support is provided to fast track the ideas into potential businesses and bypass all possible pitfalls along the way.

STEP 1 : Boot Camp | May – June 2021
The top teams chosen by our National Leads take part in the ClimateLaunchpad National programme which kicks off with a multi-day digital Boot Camp. Our trainers teach the teams all they need to know about jump-starting their business.
STEP 2 : Intensive Coaching and National Final | June – September 2021
The Boot Camp is followed by a period of intensive coaching. Teams perfect their pitch, value proposition, and business model. Once they are ready to rock the National Final, they pitch digitally to National Jury.
STEP 3 : South Asia Final | September 2021
The top teams go to the South Asia Final where they pitch in front of the region’s best and brightest.
STEP 4 : Global Grand Final | October 2021
The best teams in the world pitch against each other on the international stage. Here, there is glory to be won.
