RELEVANT SUSTAINABLE GOALS

(INDIA) Promoting Girls Education and Health Fundraising Campaign by Sahas Foundation

What: Sahas Foundation is kickstarting a fundraising campaign to support girls education starting today till 8th March. In village Khushipura, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh ; girls drop out at the age of 12-13 years and pushed into early marriage leading them to have children at the age when they must be living their dreams. SAHAS Foundation is deeply committed to change this pattern and try very best to ensure that every girl completes 12 years of education.

Moreover,  women’s poor reproductive health is a urgent concern in the village as well where they are facing diseases related to periods, lack of awareness on contraception with no healthcare support within 10 kms of the village. So, we are organizing a reproductive health awareness camp this women’s day on 5th March; followed by a sports competition on 6th March.

If you are someone who believes in the gender work we do or someone who would like to support this campaign that is towards gender equality, please support through donations.
