Reimagine Stationery With Left-handesign

Left-handesign
When you’re done using it, simply plant and watch it grow!
Radhika Mayani, the founder of Left-handesign was primarily affiliated with the corporate world as an Art Director in advertising and hospitality. It wasn’t until 2016 that she started developing genuine concerns about the heaps of wastes discarded from hotels. She began exploring methods that could help utilize such waste products and, in the process, started integrating her interest in stationery and laid the foundation of Left-handesign. The first product that the company launched was a plantable pencil in 2017. Eventually, Radhika’s idea blossomed, and plantable notebooks and bamboo fiber coffee cups were manufactured. Although her initiative didn’t earn much popularity at first, she unwaveringly struggled for it and used diverse ways for its promotion.

Left-handesign : Plantable Seed Stationeries

The first product that the company launched was a plantable pencil in 2017. Eventually, Radhika’s idea blossomed, and plantable notebooks and bamboo fiber coffee cups were manufactured. Although her initiative didn’t earn much popularity at first, she unwaveringly struggled for it and used diverse ways for its promotion.

In 2019, as the world started supporting the idea of creating a sustainable living space, her business began reaching out to more people. Left-handesign gained immense popularity and appreciation, which it undoubtedly deserved. Taking a step ahead in the journey, Radhika started promoting her brand in multiple schools and universities. National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), as well as Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) were some of the organizations that showed explicit interest in Left-handesign and used sustainable marketplaces to manifest its fame.

Putting nature back into people’s lives

Radhika has always been particularly fond of her products as she firmly believes that her idea was the better cause. Undoubtedly, people must adapt to the concept of “sustainability.” Given the crucial need to do so, Radhika is continuously endeavouring to spread awareness and education regarding plantable products. Moreover, the brand itself has produced many different articles such as pens, notebooks, bamboo fiber coffee cups, wine bags, gift bags, and so forth.
The best part about these products is that they are made with absolutely eco-friendly materials; therefore, Mother Earth hasn’t been harmed in any way during their production. Yet, herbs like tomato, chili, marigold, Tulsi (Indian basil), spinach, okra, morning glory, and mustard seeds could be grown once the item has been used. Likewise, Left-handesign has just launched its series of Angpao (red envelopes,) which received an overwhelming response and got sold out before the Chinese New Year.

Earth-Friendly Gifts for Everyone You know

“Putting nature back into people’s lives” is the fundamental ideology that the brand revolves around. Radhika believes that plantable products help build a connection between nature and our everyday lives. They connect the two, creating a fun-filled, joyous experience, meanwhile advancing the world towards eventual sustainability. Radhika’s primary objective remains to lessen the amount of waste eliminated by using it to produce plantable stationeries, which serve as beautiful, versatile & memorable gifts.

Additionally, the “Plant a Tree in Your Name” program commenced by the Left-handesign allows customers to plant a tree with their own name along with every $30 purchase.

Remember, each step you take is essential, no matter how big or small it is. Every individual can make a difference in this world, and that’s exactly what Radhika believes too. Every small change should be practised until it becomes a habit!
