(INDONESIA) In commemoration of the 2022 Indonesia National Waste Care Day (HPSN), Sustaination, together with River Clean Up Indonesia, challenged Gen Z to manage waste better.

Sustaination’s Challenge : #Mulaidaripilihanku

This movement has started on February 9, 2022, and will last for three weeks. Through the 2022 National Waste Care Day, Sustaination challenges the community to manage waste, including reducing, reusing, composting, and recycling waste.

Every week Sustaination will share a theme for the audience to follow, every Instagram Stories post was given by the audience is the same as contributing to lifting 100 grams of garbage in the waters, and every Instagram Feeds, and Reels upload is the same as contributing to lifting 500 grams of garbage in the waters. The movement is targeted at social media users from 18 to 35 who desire to start taking positive, meaningful actions for the environment.

This movement aims to encourage people to reduce household waste circulation since Indonesia’s final disposal sites (TPAs) contain an abundance of waste. Additionally, this movement encourages people to reuse household waste that would otherwise be disposed of.
