We need to remind ourselves that it’s okay – and absolutely necessary – to slow it all down. To take a break and enjoy nature. To have long good night sleep. To take vacations. To talk to mental health professionals. To turn off the phone and simply be together. To watch the sunrise. To ask for a hug. To spend time alone and figure everything out. To take a break from the world.
Take What You Need
Sometimes, the most productive you can do is take a break.
Instead of pushing through, pull back and get some prespective.
Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes… including you.
Break sometimes are not only about stepping away but are about personal growth. How that growth happens is going to be different for each person , and that should be celebrated. Catching your breath might be the oxygen you need to keep going.
