(SINGAPORE) What do you do with all the poly mailers, padded envelopes, and bubble wrap that come in the mail with your online shopping deliveries? Throw them all away?
Not anymore ! It’s time to give those used ply mailers, padded envelopes and bubble wrap second life. Donate used mail packaging to Package Pals Drop-Off Point at Tampines Hub, Singapore.

Package Pals  : Circular Packaging Initiative

Founded in June 2020,  Package Pals has a mission to extend the lifespan of single-use mail packaging. Package Pals collects single-use mail packaging and distributes them to retailers to be used again.

How and Where To Donate

Package Pals recommends to remove any private information on your mailing labels. For poly mailers, you can use alcohol or nail polish remover to remove permanent marker ink, or to write over private information tip any dry eraser marker before wiping it off.

For paper products, you can use correction tape or permanent markers to cancel out any details, or paste a piece of  paper over private information. Last but not least, make sure to cover or black out all old logos and shipping labels.

You can drop off the used mail packaging at Tampines Hub – located near the Singpost Popstation / Central Plaza.

Type of Packaging

Overall, packaging should not be badly torn, or visibly dirty. There are 4 types of mail packaging accepted for redistribution :
◦ Poly mailers (A4 or larger)
◦ Paper envelopes (A4 or larger)
◦ Clear plastic wrappers (A4 or larger)
