BAMBOO BUILDERS’ “BUILDING SOCIAL ENTERPRISES PROGRAM”
The Building Social Enterprises programme aims to expose Singaporean youth(aged 19 to 35 years old) to the social, cultural and economic opportunities in ASEAN. Through specially curated talks by experienced social entrepreneurs and industry experts, and hands-on research activities, the youth will explore how Political, Economic and Social (PES) factors influence the conduciveness of growth of social enterprises in various ASEAN countries.
This is an international online programme lasting for 4 weeks. There will be a total of 5 sessions lasting 2hr each. The programme provides you with an opportunity to learn about the social, cultural, and economic landscape in the various ASEAN countries. Simultaneously, you can expect to learn soft skills critical to social entrepreneurship and interact with participants from various ASEAN countries. Towards the end of the programme, you will be given a chance to apply all that you have learned in a business project! To gain the most out of the program, it is encouraged that participants work on the project with their group mates beyond official sessions.
