AVPN South Asia Impact Festival 2021. Join the most vibrant social investment community to co-create opportunities, share failures, and reflect on your work.
While the South Asia sub-region continues to grapple with the COVID-19 crisis the social investment community is working hard. Many systemic challenges have arisen – From the obvious health-related implications of a global pandemic to the less obvious impact on education and livelihoods, and the continued existential threat of the climate crisis. Addressing these complex challenges requires a collaborative spirit, an appetite to learn from one another, and the agility to adapt quickly to meet this moment.
The South Asia Impact Capital Festival is a month-long series of virtual events designed to bring together social investors working across India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka to share knowledge, find collaborators and scale solutions across healthcare, livelihoods, climate action and education.
It is designed specifically for philanthropists, corporations, impact investors, financial institutions, and other social investors with an eye on South Asia. The festival brings together powerful perspectives and multi-sectoral opportunities to collectively address the complex challenges facing the region. In the face of an unprecedented crisis that threatens to undermine the progress made by the subregion towards achieving the UN SDGs – these conversations have never been more urgent.
