CDL – GCSN Young SDG Leaders Award 2022
The 12th edition of the CDL-GCNS Young SDG Leaders Award is back with a new and exciting format!Find out if you have what it takes to be the next SDG champion and participate in the SG Green Plan: Hackathon!
Finalists stand a chance to win cash prizes worth up to $10,000 while also getting the opportunity to implement real, sustainable business solutions within an organization.
Co-organized by City Developments Limited (CDL) and Global Compact Network Singapore (GCNS), this annual competition provides a forum for young people to support sustainable development and SDG integration into business for positive change.
Since its beginning in 2011, the competition, formerly known as the CDL-GCNS Young CSR Leaders Award, has developed almost 2,400 young leaders. This award aspires to educate and equip young leaders with SDG knowledge and skills while motivating Singapore firms to take meaningful steps towards the SDGs.
Who Can Be Young SDG Leaders ?
Students between the ages of 17 and 25 are encouraged to join groups of three to five people. Participants must be Singaporeans, Permanent Residents, or holders of a Student Pass who are presently enrolled in Integrated Programme schools, Junior Colleges, Institutes of Technical Education, Polytechnics, Universities, or International Schools in Singapore.
Winners and finalists will receive attractive cash prizes. Prizes and certificates will be given out at an award ceremony at the GCNS Summit 2022 organised by the Global Compact Network Singapore in October 2022.
