Yuan Skincare & Soap has launched an elaborative sustainability initiative known as the Blue Hope, which aims at encouraging individuals to reduce the use of single-use plastic bottles in the bathrooms while raising funds to support water sustainability actions in Southeast Asia.
BLUE HOPE CAMPAIGN
The launch of Blue Hope Soap offers a significant opportunity for individuals to help reduce the use of single plastic bags and promote the conservation of the environment at an individual level. According to Chiang Jung Yuan, the founder of Yuan Workshop the bar soap an eco-friendly option since it eliminates the need for containers for storage and transport; thus, it significantly decreases bathroom-generated plastic bottles.
SingStats shows how 1.37 million households in 2020. With the Blue hope Campaign at least 49.32 million plastic bottles will be saved annually; assuming each household was to reduce three bottles.
The Blue Hope Soap comprises three eco-friendly handmade soaps for the face, body, and hair.
- For the Body: Lemon (柠檬) Cooling Soap is packed with the goodness of vitamin C and effective in balancing oily skin, tightening pores and lightening pigmentation.
