Rodrigo’s donation will benefit 10 non-profit organizations that champion women’s reproductive rights, prevent gender-based violence, and support girls’ education.
In a year of sold-out stadiums and chart-topping hits, Olivia Rodrigo is ending her record-breaking GUTS World Tour with a gesture as powerful as her music. The 21-year-old pop sensation is donating more than $2.7 million to women’s charities worldwide, an extraordinary move underscoring her commitment to creating a more equitable future for women and girls.
RELEVANT SUSTAINABLE GOALS
A Generous Encore to a Spectacular Tour
Rodrigo’s donation will benefit 10 non-profit organizations that champion women’s reproductive rights, prevent gender-based violence, and support girls’ education. The funds, sourced from the tour’s net proceeds, will be distributed through her philanthropic initiative, Fund 4 Good. Among the recipients are the U.S.’s National Network of Abortion Funds, Canada’s Women’s Shelters, Europe’s Women Against Violence Europe, and Thailand’s Pratthanadee Foundation.
Other beneficiaries include Korea Foundation for Women, Singapore’s Aidha, Australia’s Wesnet, Japan’s NPO Women’s Saya-Saya, Hong Kong’s Harmony House Limited, and the Philippines’ Jhpiego. Rodrigo personally visited many of these organizations during her global tour, using her platform to amplify their critical work.
Giving Back Is Never a Bad Idea
The Filipino-American artist’s philanthropy extends beyond financial contributions. In her first visit to the Philippines, Rodrigo described the experience as deeply meaningful. “I got to visit Jhpiego while I was in Manila and was so impressed by the work they’re doing to provide healthcare to women and girls in the Philippines,” she said. “It was the most special show and the most meaningful trip. To say I’m grateful doesn’t even cut it!”
Jhpiego expressed their appreciation on Instagram, writing: “We are beyond honored to be the nonprofit Olivia Rodrigo chose to support during her first visit to the Philippines. Her generosity and commitment to women’s health will make a lasting impact.”
Rodrigo launched Fund 4 Good with the goal of advancing women’s health, safety, and education globally. In an October 2023 interview, she emphasized her commitment to reproductive healthcare and women’s issues. “Lots of the money is going to abortion funds to help provide resources to people who are in need of reproductive healthcare,” she said.
The GUTS World Tour, which spanned over 95 sold-out shows across 60 cities and 20 countries, provided Rodrigo with a platform to both entertain and educate. By connecting with local organizations, she has highlighted the urgent need for sustained action on women’s rights worldwide.
A Legacy Beyond Music
Rodrigo’s commitment to social change sets her apart in the entertainment industry. While her GUTS album cemented her place as a generational talent, her philanthropic efforts demonstrate a determination to use her influence for good.
As the tour concludes in 2025 with headline shows in Brazil and Mexico, Rodrigo’s message is clear: success is not just about personal achievement but also about uplifting others.
Her $2.7 million pledge is more than a donation—it’s a call to action, reminding the world that collective effort can create lasting change. As she told Billboard, “This milestone is so special because it’s about bringing something meaningful to people, not just music but also hope and support.”
Rodrigo’s voice resonates far beyond the stage, echoing in the lives of the women and girls she has vowed to support. And in a world desperately in need of leaders who lead with empathy, she is striking all the right chords.
