RELEVANT SUSTAINABLE GOALS 

Together Women Rise Grant

Together Women Rise is dedicated to empowering women and girls in low-income and marginalized communities in the Global South through its Featured Grants Program.

Fund allocation:

  • Capacity building: Helping organizations strengthen their operations to improve their impact.
  • New programs: Funding for innovative initiatives that tackle urgent issues affecting women and girls.
  • Program expansion: Grants for organizations looking to scale up successful programs.
Key details of the featured grant:
  • Grant Amount: $35,000 to $50,000, paid over a 24-month period (2 years).
  • Number of Grants: We award at least 12 Featured Grants annually.
  • Eligible Organizations: Organizations with operating budgets of $100,000 or above may apply.
    • For capacity-building grants, organizations with budgets between $100,000 and $1 millionare eligible.
  • Grant Term: 24 months (2 years).
  • Frequency of Grants: Organizations may receive only one Featured Grant per four-year period.

The Asia Gender Equality Fund by AVPN

The Asia Gender Equality Fund by AVPN is now inviting applications for Round Three, dedicated to advancing gender-just climate action across the Asia Pacific.
 
Supported by Fondation CHANEL, Gates Foundation and Minderoo Foundation, this round focuses on addressing the distinct challenges women face due to climate change and empowering them to achieve economic security.
Eligibility and Qualification
To be eligible for consideration, your organisation should meet the following criteria:
  • Be a registered non-profit organisation operating within APAC
  • Possess a well-defined plan of the solution with potential for scalability, feasibility and impact.
  • Organisations must be able to provide 2 recent years of audited financial reports.
  • Should NOT be the following:  
    • Religious organisations
    • Included in the US or EU sanctions list, nor blacklisted by any UN or international agency
Impact Area
The Fund is looking to support non-profit organisations that work in the following impact areas focusing on women and girls including:
  • Building climate resiliency
  • Enabling participation in the green economy
  • Supporting those who have been affected by climate change and/or have high climate change vulnerability
  • Advocacy for inclusion in green initiatives
If your organisation is working on multiple areas or other impact areas in the gender x climate nexus, you are also encouraged to apply.

She Wins Climate Southeast Asia 2025: Empowering Women-Led Climate Startups

Applications are open for the She Wins Climate Southeast Asia 2025 accelerator—a 12-month program designed to support 25 early-stage, women-led climate startups across the region. The program offers mentorship, investor connections, pitch coaching, and market access to help scale impactful climate solutions. 
She Wins Climate is an initiative by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), supported by the Governments of Canada and Australia, and delivered in partnership with New Energy Nexus.
Participant Eligibility 
  • Be the founder, co-founder, owner, or executive of the startup
  • Be 21 years or older
  • Identify as a woman
  • Be able to communicate in English
Eligibility and Qualification
  • Be women-owned or women-led
  • Be legally registered and operating for at least one year at the time of application
  • Be in the early stages of growth, beyond the ideation phase (pre-seed, seed, or Series A stage)

TotalEnergies  “On accelerator” 

In line with TotalEnergies’ ambition to be a major player in the energy transition, TotalEnergies On intends to support the development of new companies in the electricity and renewable energy sector.
 
This 6 months program is aimed at start-ups offering innovative solutions, particularly digital ones, across the entire electricity value chain. The selected start-ups benefit from privileged access to the Company’s experts, a testing ground for their developments within TotalEnergies’ businesses and mentoring on entrepreneurial issues.
 
Selected startups are also benefit from the STATION F ecosystem, thanks to their hosting at TotalEnergies On.
 
This challenge is open to MVP-stage startups in renewable generation, storage, energy management, and mobility across North America, Europe, and Asia.

Climate Launchpad: The Green Business Ideas Competition 

You have a green business or just an idea and want to take it to the next level. Perfect, you should enter our competition. Don’t worry if you don’t have a business plan just yet. Or if your idea is still on the back of a napkin. You are most welcome to join.
 
ClimateLaunchpad provides an unparalleled platform for climate innovators to turn their ideas into sustainable businesses that can change the world. With expert coaching, a robust network of supporters, and the opportunity to gain global exposure, this is the perfect opportunity for anyone who’s serious about making a positive environmental impact.
If you don’t have full answers to all of the questions in the form, feel free to give rough estimates. The important thing is to get your form submitted before your country’s deadline
How it works
 
To enter the competition submit your idea or innovation with environmental impact. We’ll help you fast track that idea into a business and bypass all possible pitfalls along the way. You’ll learn how to get your idea funded and launched.
 
Once you are selected to join ClimateLaunchpad, the Boot Camp and coaching sessions will help you develop your idea to a rock-solid plan. You will pitch this during your National Final and the Regional Finals.
 
All entries will be reviewed and ideas that fit the bill of our competition get invited to join.
Eligibility and Qualification
To be eligible for the competition, your venture must meet the following criteria :  
  • Less than 2 years old: You’re in the early stages of building your business or idea.
  • Received less than 200,000 euros in funding: Your venture is in its infancy, and you are looking for the support to scale and grow.
  • Potential for impact: Your solution has shown potential in addressing climate change and is ready to take the next step towards implementation and scale.

Open Ocean Research Grant Program

This research grant program aims to enhance ocean governance by publicly sharing data on human activity at sea to grow our community of practice and expand and improve Global Fishing Watch datasets. The Open Ocean Research Grant Program seeks to strengthen this network of research partners and maximize the impact of these datasets by inviting global researchers to improve core technologies and apply them to ocean governance research.
 
The Open Ocean Research Grants Program offers up to $10,000 for individuals, including graduate students and researchers establishing themselves in their fields, ideally collaborating with civil society and/or government agencies. Institutions like small laboratories and organizations with teams of two to five people with a clearly identified team leader can receive up to $20,000 for projects using Global Fishing Watch data.

While proposals are welcomed globally, special consideration will be given to projects centered in priority geographies, where we see strong potential to accelerate impact. These countries include:

🌍 Africa: Benin, Cameroon, Gabon, Guinea, Kenya, Madagascar, Morocco, Senegal, Tunisia

🌏 Asia: Indonesia, Maldives, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam

🌎 Latin America and the Caribbean: Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Peru

Award amount : Grants of up to $20,000 USD are available for research using Global Fishing Watch’s open-access data and tools to enhance transparency, support fisheries management, reduce illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing, and strengthen monitoring, control and surveillance; with following breakdowns : 
  • Individual category: $10,000 USD maximum
  • Group category: $20,000 USD maximum

Climate Impact Innovations Challenge 2025

Got a big idea to help the planet? Now’s your chance to make it real! The Climate Impact Innovations Challenge (CIIC) 2025 is back, seeking groundbreaking solutions in Energy Transition, Sustainable Agriculture, and Circular Economy!

With AI transforming sustainability, Climate Impact Innovations Challenge 2025 is also looking for AI-driven innovations to tackle challenges across all three tracks.
Application criteria
  • Plans to pilot the solution in Indonesia to create minimum viable product with the intention for commercialization
  • Possesses an original and innovative proposal
  • Proposes an impactful solution that addresses key challenges in at least one of the three tracks of the Climate Impact Innovations Challenge 2025: Energy Transition, Sustainable Agriculture, or Circular Economy
  • Presents a feasible solution that can be adopted quickly and perform well in a large scale setting
  • Potential for commercially viable solution, with a large market size
Funding size : total prize pool of Rp10 billion for winners

Cartier Women’s Initiative 2026

The Cartier Women’s Initiative is an esteemed international entrepreneurship program established in 2006, dedicated to empowering women-run and women-owned businesses worldwide that aim to create a significant social and/or environmental impact. The 2026 edition of the program is now open for applications, offering a unique opportunity for women entrepreneurs to elevate their businesses to new heights
The Cartier Women’s Initiative recognizes and supports women entrepreneurs through various award categories:
  • Regional Awards: Targeted at early-stage impact businesses that have gained traction by validating product/market fit, business, and financial models, and are generating revenue.
  • Science & Technology Pioneer Award: Designed for women-led businesses based on the development of new technologies, complex engineering processes, or scientific discoveries.

Note: Each business can apply for only one award category per year.

Eligibility and Qualification
 
To be eligible for the Cartier Women’s Initiative, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Leadership: The applicant must be a woman holding a top-management position (e.g., CEO, COO, CTO) and must own a significant stake in the business.
  • Business Stage: The business should be in the early stages of development, typically 1-5 years old.
  • Revenue Generation: The business should have generated income during the recent year.
  • Impact Focus: The business must contribute to at least one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  • Legal Age: The applicant must be at least 18 years old on the application deadline.
  • Language Proficiency: A good command of English (Common European Framework of Reference Level B2 or above) is required.
  • Commitment: The applicant must commit to participating in the fellowship program from January 2026 to March 2027, dedicating 1 to 3 hours per week, and attending one week of in-person events in May 2026.
Selected fellows will receive:
  • Financial Support: Grant funding ranging from $30,000 to $100,000.
  • Education: Fully funded fellowship for the INSEAD Social Entrepreneurship Executive Education Programme.
  • Coaching: One-year 1:1 support from a business coach.
  • Networking: Access to a global community of women entrepreneurs, experts, and investors.
  • Media Exposure: PR support and coverage on international media platforms.
  • Impact Reporting: Opportunity to report business progress towards SDGs for three years following the fellowship.

The Global Good Fund Fellowship 2026

The Global Good Fund is pleased to open applications for its 2026 Fellowship Program, a highly competitive leadership development initiative for social entrepreneurs dedicated to creating sustainable social impact within their communities. The program is designed to accelerate the leadership capacity of visionaries who are driving social innovation and are positioned to scale their enterprises for long-term change.
 
The Global Good Fund Fellowship invests in social entrepreneurs who are committed to solving some of the world’s most pressing issues. The fellowship is focused on building the leadership skills of individuals not just scaling enterprises. We believe that when a leader grows, their enterprise grows, and in turn, their community thrives.
 
Each fellow is paired with a professional executive coach and a business mentor to support their leadership development. The fellowship is designed to be a personalized, one-year experience that challenges and empowers entrepreneurs to maximize their impact.
Eligibility and Qualification
 
To be considered for the 2026 Global Good Fund Fellowship, applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:
  • Enterprise Maturity: The social enterprise must be at least two years old.
  • Leadership Commitment: The applicant must be the primary decision-maker and lead the organization full-time.
  • Team Structure: The enterprise must have at least one full-time employee in addition to the applicant.
