The Equity Initiative Fellowship 2024 beckons pioneers across all sectors from Southeast Asia and China. Are you a forward-thinking individual with at least six years of professional experience, committed to creating a future where health equity and social justice prevail? Do you believe in system changes that can drive this vision? If so, the Equity Initiative Fellowship may just be your gateway to making a larger impact.
Designed for leaders from various sectors – public, private, academia, or non-profit, this one-of-a-kind fellowship by the Equity Initiative is a launchpad for visionaries dedicated to health equity.
Selection Criteria
Prospective fellows should be resident citizens of a Southeast Asian country or China and proficient in English. The selection committee, comprising national and regional experts, evaluates applicants based on their leadership skills, commitment to social justice, and long-term vision for health equity. Achieving a diverse cohort mix that fosters optimal multinational and multi-sectoral learning is the primary aim.
Fellows stand to gain immense benefits from this opportunity. The one-year fellowship includes participation in six in-person learning events totaling about six weeks. The events offer interaction with globally and regionally recognized faculty and key players in health equity and development. Fellows can also implement an equity action project with seed funding provided.
Even if you’re not a health expert or working in the health sector, your application is welcomed. The program seeks cross-sector leadership to build a network across diverse professional fields.
After completing the fellowship, the journey continues. Fellows kickstart their second-year project and become part of the global network of Atlantic Fellows, committed to furthering social justice in health.
